This green stuff is as tall as Daddy!

Hi, Mommy!

Alex is not so sure about this.

Mom, are we done taking pictures yet?

Super Baby!

By the (corrected) numbers

The numbers from Alexandra’s 2-month checkup last week:

  • Length: 22.25″ … 33rd percentile
  • Weight: 10 lb, 1 oz … 14th percentile
  • Head Circumference: 40 cm … 88th percentile

From Alexandra’s 1-month checkup:

  • Length: 21.5″ … 61st percentile
  • Weight: 8 lb, 6 oz … 21st percentile
  • Head Circumference: 38.5 cm … 81st percentile

For those keeping score at home, here are the stats from her NEWBORN checkup:

  • Length: 19.5″ … 38th percentile
  • Weight: 6 lb, 12 oz … 16th percentile
  • Head Circumference: 36 cm … 67th percentile

Finally, for those who are interested, we also wanted to clarify California disability laws: It’s six weeks of paid disability (SSI) for giving birth or eight weeks for a c-section. After that, there are six paid weeks of Baby Bonding time (again through SSI) and then another six weeks unpaid. So, for us, that’s a total of twenty weeks.
